Pastor Doak came to McKinney and to Lifepointe Fellowship after serving on the mission field in Duesseldorf, Germany. He grew up in Waco, TX where he came to faith in Christ near the end of his junior year of high school. It was during his senior year when he began to sense a call into ministry & eventually he became a student minister at a small church in Amarillo, TX, during which time he was playing football and attending West Texas State University. It was at that time that Doak met his wife Pam and they married in June of 1988. They have 5 children – Peyton, Holden, Dillon, Haven & Canyon. He has served in ministry in Amarillo, Canyon, Houston, Ft Worth, Germany & now here in McKinney.

He has been at Lifepointe since August of 2008. He loves his family and reading & communicating the Word of God to help people know the wonder of God’s glory. For fun you can find Him often playing the great game of Disc Golf.
